We would love to share our feelings with all types of parents and families, as we think this is a stage of great over-exertion, which is of course worthwhile, but it is clear that with the pace of life we lead, we need to get them out on the market or be able to share tools and ergonomic products that make it easier for us to look after our little ones.
This is how our product Ryde&Go Baby was born. Because of this, we want to accompany you on this new path, providing different ways of approaching parenting, providing all the information on the areas of baby growth, as well as ideas, experiences, recommendations of all kinds to enjoy with security and peace of mind.
It all started with the birth of our son and the gift of a babyBjörn bouncer. We loved it because it’s an accessory that doesn’t take up much space unlike a cot or a pram. It’s lightweight and the most important thing is that we found our baby very comfortable, as it’s in a more vertical situation, which is ideal to encourage visual exploration, head control and above all for the sensation of movement.
From the daily use of the bouncer and the physical and psychological exhaustion that the newborn entails, we detected the need to put wheels on the bouncer and this is where our project was born, today a reality.
Overcoming the dethroned prince syndrome The arrival of a new baby can be a difficult experience for an older sibling. Suddenly, a tiny creature arrives at home and takes up much of the time that mum and dad used to devote to him or her. This is the dethroned prince syndrome, that is, the appearance of jealousy towards the younger brother or sister. Below, we offer you five tips to make this situation more bearable, always assuming that, beforehand, that is, during pregnancy, we have prepared the child for the arrival of his or her little brother or sister. Be patient You can do it, of course you can. Even if tiredness has become your most faithful companion, you surely know how to find the extra patience your little ones need. In those moments when you feel you can’t take it anymore, try to put yourself in their shoes, think about how you would feel if you were them and breathe. Count to three, ten or even 100. Ask for help if you feel that the glass is about to overflow so that you can face the situation calmly. This does not mean that you allow your child to do whatever he or she wants, but that you talk to him or her more, hug him or her more and try to solve any problems without arguing. ... Interview Minimalista Vida Today @minimalistavida Merce for her more than 90,000 YouTube friends, comes to our blog. In her channels, Merce shows us how she lives minimalism while motivating us to clean and giving us ideas to make our daily routines more bearable. Recent mum, she has tried our wheels and her experience has been very positive, so we thank her very much for her collaboration and we invite you to visit her channel Minimalist Life. 1.Nearly 100,000 followers on YouTube and 30,000 on Instagram. Tell us how and when the project came about. In 2017 we had a move and when we arrived at the new house I was overwhelmed with so many boxes and so many things we didn’t use. Looking for organisation tips I came across the KonMari method, so I decided to open the channel to show how I applied its advice. 2. How did minimalism come into your life? Learning about the KonMari method I also discovered minimalism and decided to apply it little by little to our lifestyle. I realised that I was quite consumerist, especially with clothes, and I understood that I could live with less things and that I could not only apply it to material things, but that I wanted to apply it in... Life is better on wheels Have you ever noticed how many things get better when you add wheels? Probably not. We are so used to seeing and using them that we are unaware of their power. If you’ve seen the Fantastic Beasts saga, you’ll remember one of the main characters, Newt Scamander, carrying his big suitcase full of strange creatures throughout the film. Doesn’t it make you want to put some wheels on it? For me, yes, nowadays I can’t imagine moving around an airport or a station with a suitcase without wheels. And what about children? Many of us have not lived through the era of wheeled backpacks. What a great invention for the postural health of the little ones and also for the parents who often carry one or two backpacks like sherpas in the Himalayas. When it comes to shopping, wheels are also very useful. On the one hand, there are the shopping trolleys, without which it would be impossible to do a real monthly shop – where else would we put the mega-boxes of nappies? And the same goes for the baskets – it’s almost impossible to carry a bag, the basket, push a pram and keep track of one or two children at the same time while choosing what to buy. And when it’s time to go home, there’s nothing better than a good trolley to carry all your shopping comfortably. And if it’s foldable, then so much the better. In the world of babies, wheels play a very important role. Pushchairs, walkers, scooters, bikes… It is clear that children love to be on the move and that they help us as parents enormously. The same goes for our wheels. It was while looking after our own son that we came up with the idea of giving movement to the bouncer in which he rested and played. At first we thought of making something homemade, just for ourselves, but we soon saw the possibilities that this idea had and so Ride&Go Baby was born, the wheels that help you to look after your baby while he or she enjoys themselves. ... Passion for safety Designing and launching a product on the market is always a responsibility. And if it is aimed at children, as in our case, even more so. At Ride&Go Baby we are not only entrepreneurs creating the only wheels for baby bouncers in the world, we are also parents and, as such, we understand perfectly well how important child safety is. From the moment we launched this project, it was very clear to us that safety would be at the forefront of our work. We studied the safety regulations in depth and designed our wheels taking into account the guidelines required of us. We made sure that Ride&Go Baby was manufactured from the very first moment according to the 2001/95/CE regulations, with the following reference standard: UNE-EN ISO 12100:2012. We also have two ISO certifications. Specifically ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, which refer to our company’s work processes in terms of quality and the environment. We carry out a thousand and one tests at home, with acquaintances and family members. And we commissioned an expert laboratory in Alicante to test the product to ensure that no detail was left to chance. It was a long road, involving many changes, many tests,... Continue reading
