1.Nearly 100,000 followers on YouTube and 30,000 on Instagram. Tell us how and when the project came about.
In 2017 we had a move and when we arrived at the new house I was overwhelmed with so many boxes and so many things we didn’t use. Looking for organisation tips I came across the KonMari method, so I decided to open the channel to show how I applied its advice.
2. How did minimalism come into your life?
Learning about the KonMari method I also discovered minimalism and decided to apply it little by little to our lifestyle. I realised that I was quite consumerist, especially with clothes, and I understood that I could live with less things and that I could not only apply it to material things, but that I wanted to apply it in general to my whole life.
3. You have recently become a mother, do you think it is possible to lead a minimalist lifestyle with children?
I think that with children it is very necessary to lead this lifestyle because it can make your day to day life much easier. At the beginning and without experience, I fell back into having more things than necessary, but little by little you learn and you realise that a baby or a child doesn’t need so much to be happy.
4. Now that you work from home, how do you manage to combine your work with looking after your little one?
I am now on maternity leave, but as I am lucky enough to be able to continue working from home, I am already trying to create a timetable so that I can combine it well and give her as much attention as possible. Although it’s worth pointing out that it’s not always possible because every job and every circumstance is different.
5. How would you define Ride&Go Baby in one sentence?
It makes your life easier.
The baby bouncer is definitely one of the items that I would buy again, as my little one is very happy while we are having lunch or dinner, because we have it next to us and we can be with her, but, without a doubt, being able to move it so easily with the wheels is a marvel.
